Stephen Badger is a fourth-generation Mars family member, serving as a current Board Member and two-time Chairman of Mars, Incorporated (2011-2014 and 2017-2020). As General Partner at The March Group, a food, health, and sustainability venture capital firm, he champions long-term business strategies addressing climate change, supply chain equity, and societal impact.

Badger led Seeds of Change as President (1995-2004), launching Mars' global sustainability program and health initiatives as Global VP of Corporate Affairs. During his chairmanships, he crafted Mars' first 25-year Vision, inaugural Purpose statement ("The world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today"), and the Compass framework integrating non-financial metrics like societal impact.

Producer of the documentary Muscle Shoals and co-founder of Coaching at Altitude, Badger advocates for business as a force for good on issues like biodiversity, gender equality, and deforestation. Board roles include Association of Traditional Studies and Santa Fe Preparatory School.
